Chrome/Edge extension to allow chatting with Maximo using OpenAI
MaxQA is a Chrome/Edge extension developed by Viet Tran that allows users to chat with Maximo using OpenAI. As a client-only tool, users are required to provide their own Open API key. The tool utilizes OpenAI to determine whether to query Maximo for information and uses that information to answer user questions.
The extension comes with a set of basic queries that can be used with a pre-configured Maximo demo instance. Users can easily integrate the extension with their own Maximo system, and these basic queries are likely to work immediately. To set up the extension, users need to open the Options page by right-clicking on the extension icon and selecting "Options." Here, they can enter their own OpenAI API key and provide either a Maximo API key or username/password for querying Maximo via REST API. If no credentials are provided, users will need to log in to Maximo before using the tool to ensure a valid session in the browser.
